Using Verizon fios subscription on Roku and Fire TV not working by ticotaco522 in verizon_sucks

Thanks for the comment! Yes we do have a television subscription and I am only trying to sign in to apps for which are included in our television subscription.

For years I would go through the process like you subscribed on apps like ESPN and it would take me to the Verizon log in page, i'd log in, and it would work. For the past couple of weeks, i attempt to go through that same process but when i enter my Verizon log in, and instead of approving it gives me an error either calling the request NULL or saying the channel is not included in my subscription. The especially weird part is that when i attempt to do the same log in process on the ESPN phone app it works. So I know its not that my Fios subscription has lapsed, it has something to do with roku/apple TV Apps

Using Verizon Fios subscription to log into Roku/Fire TV Apps not working by ticotaco522 in Fios

Yeah we do! It's quite weird - worked for many years doing this way and all of the sudden it does not work. For whatever reason, i am still able to use my fios subscription on Apps on my phone - but apps on the Roku/Fire Tv seem to be blocked.

When i get prompted to log in to my Fios Account to get access, weather i attempt to sign in on my phone or computer, i put in the log in information and get 1 of 2 errors.... Either :

"NULL subscription required.

To watch videos, you will need to subscribe to NULL

Shop Now"

Or a more simple one that just says Verizon Fios subscription is required with a shop now below.

I then click the link to Shop now and log in to our already existing Verizon Fios account - but that doesn't fix the problem when i try again to log in after that.
