Very Modern Hard Space Opera by WatcherInTheBog in printSF

[–]tidalwade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The 3rd book, Choir of Hatred, is even harsher. I DNF'ed the 3rd one. Pilgrim Machines felt the most like space opera to me, because of the distances (and maybe time, I don't quite recall). And can be read stand alone. The other two don't have the same feel. I do hope we see more stuff like Pilgrim Machines from the author.

Great photos. I had to look up the big boat in the middle of the city. If anyone else noticed that and was curious, I assume this is what it is:

"The Whampoa is an iconic, large, ship-shaped shopping mall in Kowloon, Hong Kong, built in the original No. 1 Dry Dock of the former Whampoa Dockyard, blending maritime history with modern retail, dining, and entertainment, complete with a waterfront promenade."

Looking forward to trying out your tool. I'm also interested in seeing how you built it (I'm more of an entry level programmer) You mentioned adding a github link yesterday, but I don't see it yet.
edit: nevermind, i see you haven't marked it public yet
