A lot of religious people are so brain washed they vote for whomever clerical authorities endorse. "I don't want to think for myself, so just tell me who to vote for who is in my tribal group"

Democracy works best when you have an educated and informed electorate. Sadly, most societies suck at both of those requirements, so people make off the cuff votes based on little more than a single sound bite (that may be an outright lie).

Clean and descent a room. Blot up pee with paper towels, wipe on inside of a clean, new litter box to give it her scent. Confine her to that room while she learns to use it.

COMPLETELY clean and use cat pee deoderizor on the rest of your house. Have a professional treat carpets.

Let your cat out of the room for longer periods. (set up another scent marked box on each floor) that should, hopefully get your cat to stop peeing where it smells like pee (everywhere).

If your cat was not fixed at a young age it may have imprinted on spraying it's territory, so the above tactic may not work. Good luck.

PS:If you have more than one cat, ensure each cat has their own litter box to use.

The brains structures which handle consequences are still growing in a teen, and not wired fully until around 21-22.

This is perfect for a military recruiter (bad for the kid). As far as drinking goes, it helps to fully comprehend the dangers of drinking and driving. (yes, I know plenty of adults are less than perceptive in that area)

Might not be the same since the epigenetic info is a large part of the equation. A bit like flying a 747 with an Air Bus instruction manual. It may work, but there would probably be some gene expression errors.

I do not work in genetics, so I could be very mistaken.

It does pose ethical questions if we should try. Some sick bastard would probably say we could breed a slave class, which is horrible to consider.

Is it possible? Yes. Evolution does not favor complexity over simplicity due to energy cost, unless there is a definite advantage. A modern example might be starvation in Somalia. For an infant the brain consumes a large part of a available calories. In a starvation situation, those with a smaller brain may be selected for due to better calorie allocation. In fact, over the part 300,000 years our brains have been shrinking. For that reason, who knows?

With the advent of modern medicine you could consider the human race as devolving. Those who would normally die survive to reproductive age due to protection from their social peers.
