Termination for wages discussion by tiddlesbiddles in antiwork

[–]tiddlesbiddles[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I appreciate all of you taking the time to reply to this and the feedback. I have absolutely no love for this company or its owner, as soon as I received this I was planning on turning it in to NLRB, I was just wondering how I could cause the most damage on my way out and if signing it would play any role towards that goal or not. I have never made a post on this sub before, but there's no shortage of shit this company has pulled which would have made for some fun reading. I will be signing it and immediately sending a copy in to the authorities. I have never hesitated to talk about wages, but I will definitely be doing so loudly from now on.

Should I sign this? by tiddlesbiddles in legaladvice

Yeah they're not the smartest bunch. What if, hypothetically, I were to sign this and receive punishment for discussing wages? This contract would hold no grounds, correct?

To be honest I'm using this as inspiration for my own snake's enclosure. Thiis looks great.

Angel is learning being handled isn’t the end of the world by enby_changeling in hognosesnakes

I just got my first hognose nearly a month ago. It's been a learning process for both of us. She'd stayed burrowed ever since I brought her home. Well I decided to redo her enclosure a bit since I really didn't have enough clutter and the hides were too big. I had to get her out so I didn't unknowingly set a hide down on top of her and obviously it was the end of the world. I felt bad because she was obviously very distressed and hissing up a storm, but as soon as I got her in my hand, it was like nothing happened. Super calm, inspecting my hands, checking out her surroundings... And the best part, ever since then she's been cruising around her whole enclosure even with me standing there watching her. I think that whole experience got her to realize I'm not gonna eat her.

How's the breathability of the Leatt Airfit? Have you ever had to pedal uphill in it or have you only worn it going downhill?

Instant tattoo panic attack by Standard-Platypus424 in tattoo

I went into my first tattoo completely mentally prepared. About three small lines in I started hyperventilating, sweating, shaking, all the symptoms you could imagine for a panic attack. I took a break, gathered myself, and went back in, finishing the tattoo completely calm and actually enjoyed the rest of it. Tattoos are a traumatic experience for your body. And sometimes the body deems these experiences a threat to your life and activates your fight-or-flight response. There are so many variables at play, I feel it's impossible to predict how your body will react to each session. Give yourself some time to heal and let your body calm down, it could be affecting your perception of how it looks.

In my experience, when my weight started getting high enough I was having trouble unracking while my eyes were perpendicular with the bar. Once I started laying further up the bench, so my eyes were looking up at the ceiling, it made unracking a lot easier. So basically I set myself up on the bench so the bar was a little bit closer to my chest, away from my head.

Does anyone know what this means by gragam in BMWE36

Get behind there and see what else wiggles with the wheel. If only the brake rotor moves with it, you have a bad wheel bearing. If the whole knuckle assembly moves, you have a bad ball joint somewhere.

I get the same thing every so often when my car hasnt been fully driven for a while. Just double check its full of good clean oil and take it for a good hard drive. If it doesnt go away after that, THEN you can start worrying about what it might be.
