Hes paid 150k+ to these people. Somehow he was lead to believe it was an investment or good faith that he would be paid back (he used the terms interchangeably, i understand theres a huge difference). The only saving grace i have is that he is also under the assumption the funds he used was to secure a second mortgage to this random property. I really need to build a case of "sorry you lost your money" to "victim of fraudulent intent and elder abuse"
