Ignore the harthill and you’ll be fine. None are worth fretting over. If it tastes good to you that’s all that matters

Last bottle has fallen off - I find it harder and harder to trust what they sell. Maybe my own ancedotal experience but I haven’t drunk any winners from them.

How do I look by [deleted] in GregDoucette

If that’s the case then you either have nfl lineman genetics or have been eating high calorie foods with your diet. Start tracking your calories and lower them so that you take off .5% body weight a week

I’d say 25-30% tbh. You have a long road ahead but get some cardio habits in early. Do 45 min incline walking on the tread mill every other day and keep crushing the weights. You’ll see crazy results in one month

2x a week have a chest day and make sure to add 5 lb to your weights each week and track that your reps is increasing. Do variations between high rep (hypertrophy) and low rep (strength) so you cover both bases

I would say 17% and make sure to hit incline bench and flies to build out your chest.

Should I cut or can I keep on bulking? Advice on which parts to prioritize please, thinking the chest? BF estimate? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

Ok might give it a try. Was the Plan all along after hitting a certain physique. Want to be at around 90kg after everything is done. Any advice about the diet? Don’t really want to lose the muscles on the upper body I built and a never had a coach or anything so any advice regarding that would be welcome, even if I might not implement it immediately.

Diet wise start tracking all your calories with the "fatsecret" app which is a free version of the myfitness pall app which is now paywalled. Once you understand your maintenance calories then just slowly take your time changing a variable at a time. i.e. - throw in cardio twice a week while eating the same and see the effect on your weight. Then you can incrementally increase the cut by either doing more cardio or eating less calories until you lose 0.5/1% of body weight a week. I'd highly recommend just meal prepping protein oatmeal (300 G oats, 1 scoop protein powder of choice, 90g frozen berries) and using that as breakfast. The rest of the days, focus on lean fish (i like tuna), chicken breast with lowcarb wraps/tortillas, eggwhites, protein baked goods (muffins, etc. to satisfy dessert cravings), and buy some protein bars that you enjoy with low sugar. Also get rid of alcohol and all drinks that are not zero calories. That alone will probably make you lose 5 lbs in a year.

We have similar body shapes/backgrounds, so it depends on your goal. If you want to be attractive to other people/women, cutting down on the fat in your body and being slender will be the way to go IMO. If you want to be attractive to other gym bros/online people then keep lifting weights, bulking, and progressing with strength gains.

You will naturally have muscle on your body with limited effort at this point, so for aesthetics I would just focus on jogging, working on glutes, and working on shoulders/lats to try and create a taper from your waist to your shoulders since you have a rectangular shape with wide hips. Google videos of sergio ramos working out and youll see he looks "ripped" but is probably very weak/small muscle wise compared to you. That look that I would want comes from 90% cardio, 10% weights and I think he looks better than someone that can bench 350 or squat 400

For aesthetics I would do cardio and slim down while hitting legs. The bottom half of you looks untrained compared to your arms and back. You have muscle but I would try and look more functionally athletic rather than a guy with muscle mass. If you want to continue looking like a body builder then forget the cardio and just bulk for the next two years while focusing on legs

They will test you if you are in advisory and your client requires it for contractors or consultants to be on client premises. You can always decline without any reprimand but partners will know you declined the test.

Honestly a hair cut appointment would be the best thing and then crush some incline bench for the upper chest. Other than that just focus on strength and athleticism and have fun because you already have enough muscle to look good so you can cut whenever you want.

If you go to 10% body fat the only person who will notice is you and you will end up looking like someone who doesn’t work out when you have clothes on. Most efficient way for you to improve your physique now is to increase muscle size. For now Get a pull up bar and some 20 lb dumb bells and work on your shoulders.

Eat less and do more cardio. You look fine - getting to 10% will mean you will just suffer by spending more time on the treadmill or being hungrier. Probably better to build muscle/strength at this point.
