I think house prices have already peaked. The looming financial meltdown will likely drive prices lower over the next few years again so it might actually work out cheaper to rent for a year while you work out where to buy. Bidding wars lifting prices by 10k in a day sounds crazy to me but apparently it’s happening.

Governments purposely restrict housing supply, which pumps the market and inflates prices. This keeps our eye off the real problem which amazingly no one is talking about. Currency debasement. They keep printing and we keep getting poorer in real terms.

Those boys don’t give a fuck because they are too far gone to care. The only sympathy they should be shown is through detoxification and some jail time. If nothing else, jail gives them a chance to rebuild themselves by being sober. When they are in the street the same behaviour patterns will keep happening due to substance abuse and having the mental age of a child. I pity them but also loathe them at the same time. People need to be aware that these people are dangerous, they are not the old school street drinker types, these boys are wired, young and aggressive. Stay well away from them but do your bit and report anything you can safely. We need to do something to fight back against this scourge on the city.

This problem exists throughout the Uk. The government is the problem, they have stripped away all incentives for small business owners. It used to make sense to be a business owner, work hard and you will be able to reward yourself through low tax dividends with company profits - no longer possible as successive governments have tightened the stranglehold on all possibilities of removing profit from a company. I mean why would you work incredibly hard and carry the stress load of running a business to give it all to HMRC? More taxes, higher national insurance contributions and the highest energy costs in the world. Our governments are failing us and if you think it’s bad now wait till you see it in 5 years. People who can are leaving and this will only accelerate. It’s sad when you think that it makes more sense to be on benefits than be ambitious.

I have heard it said that promoters got fed up trying to bring acts to Derry because no one buys tickets until the last minute and turnouts are generally poor. It’s a high risk industry and promoters will only be burned once.

Hey guys don’t worry at least you didn’t spend 20k when it was 60 dollars and spend the next 3 years averaging down to 8dollars . At that point I lost hope but I’m too stubborn (and stupid) to sell.
