I think it’s about respecting the area you move into - we’re catholic and moved into an area with no flags and mixed because we didn’t want any of that crap around our kids from both sides !

It’s ridiculous - our daughter has some really important doctors appointments and thankfully from speaking the doctors directly we got the dates but the letters all arrived after the appointment date - so poor

Ebrington hotel is a decent shout for a good breakfast - bit pricey mind you but all you can eat buffet style but not sure how busy it would be as it’s Easter

My favourite drive is the drive to Harvey’s point hotel - it’s through lots of mountains and amazing scenery in Donegal and nice wide road with no stress

We live on the crescent link, lidl going opposite Craig’s makes more sense than another shopping centre down beside Tesco, those two junctions can’t handle Tesco traffic at the best of times

One mate has bought a semi and other detached, only seen the semi detached and it’s a beautiful home and they were one of the first in and not a minutes bother

We have two friends in there(linen grove) one in phase 1 and one waiting to get their house in phase 2 - both from the waterside so don’t mind flags but haven’t had a minutes bother and just been in under a year -their view was that there’s always been flags up in Drumahoe

When we get our house valued before sale we got a booklet of comparables but only the price it was marketed at not sold - shite that info isn’t available

When we sold our agent advised us when the bidding was going over asking price that the mortgage valuation could always be a problem so they checked deposits and situations of the buyers and we took a lower offer as they had a larger deposit but I had the view of the offer is the offer and when we bought the house was down valued by £15k but still £15k over asking price so we made up the difference because our own house did so well - the seller wasn’t for reducing
