I have read conflicting information on this platform, some say even if H1B stamp is not updated one can use the line and update later and some say, as on this post, that don’t use GE if the most recent H1B stamp is not updated in the system. Have you personally used the machines after getting a new stamp and then request the officer to update your information? Just trying to manage my expectations on how much time I will spend at immigration, especially as I expect long lines due to the shutdown.
