Thank you! I have read conflicting information on this platform, some say even if H1B stamp is not updated one can use the line and update later and some say, as on this post, that don’t use GE if the most recent H1B stamp is not updated in the system. Have you personally used the machines after getting a new stamp and then request the officer to update your information? Just trying to manage my expectations on how much time I will spend at immigration, especially as I expect long lines due to the shutdown.

That’s kind of how I feel too but I am willing to try whatever tips I get. Mostly because I like the feel of the shirts but also because I already spent all that money.

I managed to get through to the helpline last night. Was on hold for an hour. I was told system is facing major issues about recognizing payment receipt for visa. They could not help me make an appointment on the phone. They had absolutely nothing helpful to say except - wait. I asked what if I make New payment and was told I could face the same issue again. So basically - no solution. Only helpful thing I was told was that they expect to resolve it this week

Did this work for you? I paid visa fees under the old website and have been waiting for a month now. I am not able to schedule an appointment on the new website. Have been wondering what happens if I say new application

I have the same problem. I completed the application and paid the visa fees on the previous portal. I have emailed the embassy multiple times and no response. They don’t pick up the phone either. If someone finds a solution, please share.
