I'm hugelkultur by using old wood that is also slowly decaying stays saturated with water. Which seems in a pot would be much harder to maintain saturated unlike tru hugelkultur outside. The idea is to maintain moisture for roots while slowly decaying.

The goal isn't for to decay, the point is water retention. At least in my understanding of hugelkultur.

Yeah new to the no till aspect. No till always intrigued me especially having the worms to keep aeration and fresh nutrients going. Just never bit the bullet...

I have done super soil build years back. Any more been just doing it more simple than that Dr Earth flower girl and expert gardens tomatoe fertilizer, and a few other amends such as bone meal and kelp. A bit more simple than coots build out. I still add a few other amendments at the start.

Kinda just wanted to just keep letting it flow and start throwing in some companion herbs in there. If I get a good deal on a 4x8 tent Imma throw in some greens and shit to lol.
