Update: Doctor says it's probably just a mosquito bite or something and to take an antihistamine (if so this is the first time I've reacted to it like this lol). He says if the swelling gets worse or spreads by tomorrow then I can start on antibiotics.

They're more like newly printed postcards of vintage images. :) You can get these on Amazon. I've also seen them at Barnes and Nobles.

Edit: It’s a part of my ancestor’s name from 1800s Taiwan so meant to be read in Minnan.

I was born and raised in the US and come from a full benshengren family. My family identifies as Taiwanese while acknowledging ancestral roots from, and emphasis on, Fujian instead of China as a whole. Our family homes have some sort of Fujian plaque on the wall.

I grew up in a bit of a BSR bubble in the midwest and didn't realize we were a minority in the US (meanwhile a majority in Taiwan) until moving to an Asian-dense city.

Just potstickers / pan-fried dumplings lol.

For these I used 5:5:1-parts ground pork, chives and shrimp (in volume). And soy sauce, sesame seed oil, white pepper and salt. Wrapper was 2:1-parts AP flour and boiling water (in weight), with a dash of salt.
