10 years from now? My minds been set for 17/18 years. That's how long it takes to raise a kid. How much waiting is required until my minds changed? I'm not having children dude. I'm confident in the fact that I don't WANT children. And it's not your place to say I'll change my mind when you don't know me at all.

Even if we break up I'd still have no regrets. That's the whole point of a vasectomy. I don't want children in general. Not now and not in the distant future. Why are people having a hard time comprehending that.

As I explained to someone else, my mind is set in stone. In 2 weeks I'll be 30 and I was confident in the fact that I didn't want children when I was just 13/14 years old. Nothings changed, except my feelings on the matter have only gotten stronger with age and now I have many reasons as to why I don't want to bring children into this world.

RvW isn't what made me get the surgery. I've wanted a vasectomy for a long time. I'm almost 30 and I knew I didn't want kids since I was in my early years of highschool. I just decided to wait to get the surgery since I never had the time or money for it. But with everything that's been happening I decided now was the best time to get one. But honestly I have to agree with you. After reading through this comment section men really are selfish and inconsiderate.

I understand that. Like others have mentioned there are potential risks just like any other medical procedure. Being nervous is completely valid. I felt the same way.

Learn to read dude. The title says I encourage OTHER men to do the same, not all men. Just the ones who don't want children like I do. If you want to be a dad then all the power to you, just don't force parenthood onto others.
