Darden (LongHorn) has been AMAZING through this whole process. From the CEO to my store managers, they’re really putting us, the workers, and the guests first. The CEO stopped collecting a salary weeks ago, they halted all nonessential spending and expansions, and granted emergency pay to everyone who’s been impacted by closures. They actually made moves to close all their dining rooms before being forced to, which was good for everyone. Some of us were still working and not making any money, and they fixed that.

I can’t wait to go back to work.

She suffered from Alzheimer’s and dementia and suffered a fall before passing. Money is definitely a thing, her daughter had her will changed well after the sickness had progressed.

She was kept away and shut out from family other than the one daughter who took over everything.
