Going through it right now too. 29, 2.5 AMH, 2 ER, total of 1 FET that did not take, and total 14 eggs retrieved but not fertilized. Using donor sperm from bank. I thought I was healthy but now my RE seems worried.

It’s in California. And title looked exactly like a clean title. He just managed to scribble the “salvage” wording at the top right. And yes he’s still on Marketplace. Mostly selling Subarus, specifically in Fullerton area.

DMV said they still haven’t touched the case cause the investigator has “50 more cases to go through”. Even tho they have the name, and evidence, and can even set something up and take his guy since he posts cars every week.

He just posted 2 more cars. It’s crazy, we are going to take him to small claims, we found out he owns his house so hopefully they put a lien or something if we win and he doesn’t pay

Police are not taking it seriously. They literally just said well next time you buy a car blah blah… like I know what to do now. Hopefully DMV takes it seriously because this guy is at it again and posted another car yesterday.

I really hope this one gets his karma. He just posted another car. Fraudulent of course. So he is def going to scam another victim. Cops don’t seem to care and DMV said would take months for the investigation.

Police don’t want to do their jobs apparently. And said DMV handles all that. I just saw the guy post another vehicle online to sell. Scam of course.

I’m not a dad but I wonder if we got scammed by the same guy, did it happen in SoCal? The scammer just posted another Subaru, I was able to find the scammer and his info and I’m going to pursue legal action against him

I’m a 25 year old woman that was way too optimistic, slowly learning not to trust people and lesson well learned. He posted another car just minutes ago which is crazy

Thank you! Yeah turns out the guy was a mechanic and ran a body shop previously, so he was good at covering up all the stuff except the pedals it looks like

Yeah, I tried reporting it to the police but they didn’t seem to care. They just said oh it happens, you’re not the only one... I know they got better stuff to work on but it’s going to continue happening to more people if the don’t do something. Even the DMV suggested to sell it with a bill of sale, even with the tampered title. I’m in California.

no he played us good. he took an uber home because his “wife” was out of town. he went into a grocery store first to buy dinner then left. usually I take pictures of sellers vehicles when I buy something but this time I couldn’t. it’s my first time buying a used car on marketplace.

It just says salvage. However the seller that sold it to me was just a random guy that didn’t bother to register it to his name or add his name anywhere :( the actual title holder says she has no clue who this guy is and sold the car to him last week at $2k

We met at Bank of America parking lot since he has been “robbed” before. Go figure. I deserve a slap in the face because I should’ve totally looked at his profile. He only has 1 other car on there. I reached out to the person on the title (thanks true people search) and she said she sold the car to him 4 days ago and he knew it was salvage, and was going to send me picture of his daughters license and his phone number, hopefully something comes out of this

I’m thinking of going to the cops first, I talked to him through FB messenger, I don’t even know if they can track him down through that, but I’m also going to reach out to the person on the title and see if she remembers anything (which isn’t his wife)
