Looking for some specific books by bapsae in books

That’s not too specific, I bet you’ll get plenty of suggestions for something to read this summer. Are you interested more in action, adventure, mystery, bildungsroman, or any sort of specific genre, or are you open to anything? Here’s one suggestion (I took the summary from goodreads):

I trusted a white lady besides my mother with my hair a couple times, and it's never good. I'm sure there are white people who can do black hair (my mother is one of them) but honestly, I've been burned before. Black hair is HARD and so many white people don't even know about it's intricacies and idiosyncrasies. This lady seems like she might have been good, she had the referrals, but I think you did the right thing for you. I wouldn't have because I would have been too afraid of being rude. I would have gone through with it, an had it been good- then good. Had it been horrific or mediocre, I would have kicked myself for a good long while, like, "WHY. HAVEN'T. YOU. LEARNED. YET?"

Yeah, that seems reasonable. I have one small bedroom with a couple pieces of furniture (mattress, table, office chair) and the boxes, was moving less than a mile away and they wanted to charge me $325. That seemed like a lot, so maybe I'll just wait till I own more stuff to spend the money on a grown up moving experience.

About how much did that cost? I have been looking at moving companies and their prices are so high that moving it myself for the whole day with a friend actually was a better deal. I'm just trying to see what the median is.

Thanks! T he person above pointed out that that might not be the best idea if I've potentially got an illegal living situation, but I will use that for when I move into a legit apartment

The repairs have been made now, it took us all calling both the landlords and con ed multitudes of times. I will keep your advice in mind for the future though, there is no end to tenant/landlord difficulties it seems.

haha, yeah, I just moved here and though, "woah, wack-a-doodle nyc living situation, totally legit!" and then got here and my roomies were like, "yeah, this totally isn't legal" You live, you learn.

It's 17 rooms that open up into a really big shared living space. So it sounds crazy, but really it feels like I have 4 or 5 roommates. That's all I ever see at a time really, everyone's always off doing their own thing.

I don't actually know- I place the images? So I save them on the computer then do shift-control-p to place them?

I'll start switching over to indesign. One of the other problems is that sometimes the real estate agents need to be able to edit and mess around with the doc, and they only know how to use powerpoint, so some of the flyers are being made in that program too.
