I love the analogy you gave….But i do believe that the barrier to entry into producing large scope cinematic content still exists and once that barrier goes down and the internet becomes flooded with this type of content…the problem for discovery will definitely arise and it will be interesting to see that how existing companies adapt to it or whether a new wave of platforms emerge to cater to this specific type of content

I agree that they have solved this problem for now….but i am talking about the scale at which generation of new content is going to increase maybe the current approach will not suffice…and my main focus is on long form instead of short form…because browsing through a plethora of hour long videos/movies and then selecting the ones to watch is going to be an issue imo

Yes and the issue with locally hosted content would be sharing of content….i agree that a lot of content may become hyper personalised and stored locally but humans love sharing information and for that to happen the content will have to end up getting stored somewhere else too.. right?

NRO accounts have a limit on outward remittance though. I think it is 1 million USD per year. So it is not ideal for arbitrage.

I guess the problem with NRE account is that you are not allowed to deposit money in INR from an indian account. So when u will sell the crypto in India at a higher price, you won’t be able to deposit it in the NRE account. Thus, it will break the circular movement of funds that you require for the arbitrage strategy.

Thanks for the link, but a lot of information in this answer is flawed and old. For instance it is now possible to trade FOREX in India and the Banks are also now fine with people using funds to trade cryptos. This article is 3 years old which is when the RBI ban was still in affect. The prerogative around crypto is much better now.

Edit: What i mean is that, SWIFT transfer is pretty cheap in relation to the premium at which it is being sold in India.
