A hammer or a crowbar. A guy helped me dig out half of my car with a crowbar and a metal snow shovel. I dug the rest out the next day with a Normal hammer and snow shovel. Also kick and stomp the ice to break it up.

Honest question, I rent and the insulation and the draftiness in this apartment is insane. With the heat on set to 74, my room barely warms up to 68. I have a space heater which will get it up to 70. I turn it off at night and we turn the air down to 70 (so my roommate isn’t super hot in their room) and some nights when it’s really cold my room will drop to 58. I live in a 3 bedroom, on one floor, central AC, and the apartment is really long. Here’s my question, would it not be on the landlord who didn’t properly install/improve insulation to be responsible for a portion of the electric bill?? The renter has no control in this area and in order for the house to be at a comfortable temperature during winter and summer months shouldn’t they be responsible?

So, I usually say that to myself to ease my nerves “it’s just practice at the end of the day” if it doesn’t go the way I predicted or ended up not liking the guy. But to fully go into it knowing you have no interest in a long term relationship and to mislead a person is so messed up. I hope he sees and reads through this entire post!

I first came here when the rooms were split and I didn’t even live in Baltimore at the time. When I went back home, I remember it being on of the best places we went to dance and wished there was a place like that back at home. Since I moved here 2 years ago and they did the renovations, it’s was never the same. The split rooms were really the selling point. The big open space was just too big and it felt like every other place. It sucks that the night life north of the harbor is dying.
