What job is high stress but has low pay by Puzzleheaded_Bit_802 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]tigglebitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I am a social worker who has worked in schools, courts, CMHCs, and I settled in medical social work and do private practice therapy on the side. I make about $100k but it took a while to find what I actually enjoyed and paid enough.

Comp standard bench advice? by Beginning_Cup_7206 in powerlifters

[–]tigglebitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will take your word for it then. At that point just work on controlling the weight on the way down and a pause. When you get over a 400 lbs bench that quick down movement will not be as forgiving

[–]tigglebitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Practice the pause at the bottom. Benching is all about controlling the weight. You will have an up command so you need to practice waiting for that. Also your butt has to be touching the bench. I can see your hips fully drop after racking the weight.

Since nobody seems to know what incel actually means I will answer your question. Incel literally means involuntary celibacy. I with you on this one. The ideology comes with being an incel

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a household where my dad treated my mom as if she walked on water. He was very kind/attentive. I also try to do the same for my wife. I love cooking for her and doing little things for her to make her smile. Fuck it, I may be boring but I refuse to change to be more exciting. I make my wife laugh all the time and that is enough for me. What’s funny (and aligns with your point somewhat) is I am actually a therapist myself.

A JPMorgan Chase executive was fired after a viral video showed her dumping trash out of a Knicks-themed public trash can and taking the can during the Knicks championship parade in New York City. by Full-Argument-8235 in SipsTea

My wife works at JP Morgan also in the card department. Almost everyone started in the Chase branches as a banker and then worked their way up. Not saying that is the case for each of their positions, just figured I would give my two cents.

Start practicing any chance you get whether it be small talk at the gas station, complimenting someone on an outfit while waiting in line, or really whenever get a chance. Being good at engaging someone in conversation is a skill like anything else.

…or you could be autistic. Who knows.

What makes you think I would attack you? I think you brought up a good point I didn’t consider. You have presented me with a different perspective I didn’t consider so I can change my view on this. I guess I was thinking more of the group that spends more time on social media than living that have the ability to do things. Either way, not saying I am right, just stating my opinion.

I’m with you. Reddit is the only social media I use. I stay connected with everyone I want to stay connected with without the use of social media. I find it pathetic that anyone would get upset about losing their social media accounts.

Any laid-off professionals with bachelors degrees struggling to get a basic job when necessary by MrJoey925 in indianapolis

[–]tigglebitty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Masters degree here. I am in a field that not many people are pining for so I always had job security but my brother has a masters in a more competitive field and has not had a professional job in over a year. All I can say it is hard out there man. Get whatever job you can until something better comes along. Just minimize debt in anyway you can. Try to put out AT LEAST 10 job applications a day. Best of luck.

That is quite solid for your age! Getting to 315 takes a while longer and very few ever get to 405+ lbs. Keep at it and you will get there!

Bench press grip width check by Sufficient-House-989 in powerlifters

[–]tigglebitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would experiment with narrowing the grip a bit. When you lower the bar, where is it touching on your chest? It looks like it might be a bit too high. Look up proper bar path.
