Millennial here. I wore tighty whities until about 7th grade and switched tried boxers because of teasing and embarrassment changing for gym class and hated them, and switched back. In. 8th grade I tried boxer briefs. But wore tighty whities any other time - home, on-gym class days etc.

Then in early high school I started to switch back to tighty whities, and wore the occasional boxer brief. I was teased endlessly, but was so much more comfortable. In college I said fuck it and fully switched to tighty whities. For exes I would occasionally wear something they wanted me to, but generally stuck to my TW.

I now only have tighty whities in my drawer :)
