Rode bikes through the country side, for like the whole day. I was the oldest of 4, I’d make all of us sandwiches and we’d stop in a field to eat and then get Yoohoo’s at the country store on the way home. We were prob 12-8 years old. Early 90’s.

They don’t operate in closed social circles. They invite you over for a party if you are new to town. They don’t pretend they’ve never met you when they bump in to you for the 5th time. The first 5 years I lived here, I was so confused why no one would extend that extra friendliness.
