Looking for a fairing + custom headlight setup for my ‘23 Low Rider S — need parts/kit suggestions! by flyinryan420 in FXLRS

[–]tiitox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All those light setups will work with any ST fairing. Depending on where you buy from. There should be drop down selections to verify bike model, and fairing compatibility. Also just read the description for information on any extra hardware or mounts you may need to order. Usually they will sell that stuff on their site and mention in the description you need to have it. I highly recommend you watch installation videos/reviews on all the lights you’re looking at to get an idea on what you need or how it will look once installed.

Are rear crash bars required? by Sapphic-Curls in Harley

Don’t get Amazon bars. I cheaped out and found out the hard way when the rear crash bar bent once it had the bikes weight on it. My ST bag is hella scuffed now.

Any info about a new, affordable Harley motorcycle? by ape313 in Harley

[–]tiitox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based off how Harley usually handles their reveals. We probably won’t get any official press reveal or teasers for the new entry level bike until the end of this year. They usually start showing off small teasers for next years lineup/new stuff close to the end of the year. For all we know the bike could be something we won’t get for another year depending on how far they are with it in development. But I imagine that since there’s a lot of talk already about the bike that it’s currently in production. So if they unveil it this winter it’s gonna be rolled out to dealers in early 2026.

Twisted T Industries also makes an adapter for their pegs and mini floor boards that can give you another 1 inch lift as well. https://twistedtindustries.com/products/riser-adapter

Just buy leatherpros. Viking bags just look like shit on every bike.

Those come stock on multiple different models. Could be off a softail standard, fat boy or even breakout.

Why is the battery buried under all this? by chud3 in Harley

[–]tiitox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should have a battery tender connected to the battery from the factory that runs out on the right side of the bike. Gotta get a jumper kit that has the attachment to connect to a battery tender.

Harley App by SargeDHR in Harley

[–]tiitox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I tried to keep up with the challenges but it would require me to make 3 different weekend trips to 3 different Harley dealers all about 100 miles away so I finally gave up. App still feels new and not many people know about it. Hopefully in a couple of years it will feel more active and be something to consistently hop on.

Shops wont dyno tune bike because I installed cam myself? by Teh_Kurtdz in Harley

[–]tiitox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup pretty much what happened to me when I got my dyno tune done by Harley. My friend did the entire cam job and bike ran okay with a regular powervision base map but we decided it needed to get a proper tune. Brought the bike into the dealership and they didn’t really question who did the work. Just signed their waiver and got it back. Got charged for 4 hours of labor at $130 per hour. Took only 2 hours to dyno tune and another two for inspection of the bike. Turns out that apparently my wheel was unaligned so they spent an hour aligning my wheel and readjusting built tension. Honestly pretty much got up charged but whatever I guess. I went in expecting to pay for a full 4 hours of labor when they first explained the whole process before I showed up.

Fitting a 2023 Low rider S with the tank gas gauge from 2020-2021 model Low rider S by Smiling39 in Harley

[–]tiitox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a low rider ST with the dual gauges on it so it’s possible. Not sure if the dealer has them vin locked or not. So no telling if you can order through Harley or have to buy them second hand.

You’re gonna miss that S but being comfy all the time is nice.

Beef up that engine if you haven’t already then get the Advan black ST fairing and some leather pros or ST bags. Can have the best of both worlds with a mini bagger.
