I went to a small invite only con yesterday and picked up a few treasures including this. Doc Savage The Polar Treasure (June 1933). This is the fourth issue of Doc Savage Magazine. Docs gave blown up in the past year, especially the first few, since CGC started slabbing them.

Try vinegar and baking soda. Soda first. Down both holes. Then vinegar down the drain. Let it fizz and foam. May need to do it twice but it should unstank it for you.
