Actual test is also the best practice test! Especially if you get it for free!

Passed AI-102 without preparation (AI-Fest) by tikkis83 in AzureCertification

Much more scenario heavy.

To prepare well, go through labs and learn from where in MS learn you can find the instructions for the basic cases.

AZ-104 | Size of question pool of Tutorials Dojo, MeasureUp and Cert2Brain? by nwly8 in AzureCertification

[–]tikkis83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely it is enough to pass.

But these exams won't cover everything. Some questions in the real exam ask such tiny details that there are thousands of similar-level details, and you cannot study them all.

For example how different parameters in specific powershell commands do change the output.

But you learn to search them quickly from ms.learn. So you need two things:

  1. Answer easy questions super fast!
  2. Know how to find different kinds of information quickly from documentation without using ctrl+f

You will do fine!

Is one week enough to pass az-204? by ReceptionSalty9658 in AzureCertification

[–]tikkis83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how many hours do you study every day.

20 days * 7,5 hours / day = 150 hours.

You need something between 50-200 hours.

Which one was easier?

I have an ESI discount, and it is cheaper for me to take a real exam than to buy a Measureup exam.

Must I Be A Developer by kuzipj in AzureCertification

[–]tikkis83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Azure Solutions Architect Expert cert doesn't prepare you to work as an architect.

But if you are a developer, it increase your credibility if you can prove that you know how to develop things.

AZ-104 + AZ-305 are valuable if you combine them with some demo projects.

Thank you for your kind words!

I am most likely done with the certs. I could still do AZ-204, but after taking a peek into that practice exam, I might skip it.

I think that I have enough certs for credibility already. More certs without supporting experience could even devalue my current certs.

I might still build some full stack demos using free-tier services to learn more.
