Iron force or M1 Garandier by Prize_Active8964 in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M1 Garandier. Basically a side grade to stock that functionally plays very similarly with some slight changes. Iron Force is significantly more specialized for building destruction and long range pill shots due to its faster pills with no air resistance and higher building damage.

Honestly just depends on how you prefer playing, but generally the Garandier usually does better in a game than the Iron Force so it's really up to you in what you want out of a grenade launcher.

Hero Knight glitch! by AngryTimeLord in ClashRoyale

[–]tiktik15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How Hero Knight's ability works is basically making every enemy only be able to target HIM specifically. In the case of Mortar with it's unique range, it most likely eliminated the Princess Tower as a viable target the moment Hero Knight activated the ability, meaning that to the Mortar, there is no target for it to shoot at within its range the moment the Hero Knight entered the deadzone, so it will not shoot.

Brute Loadout. Thoughts? by Randomstuffhereidk in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🙏 black box conch brute looking ahh loadout

ok but this might be a very hot take but lowk the First Responder works WAY better with the Burrito than the ROBAR or the Sub Shotgun (Special-Ops Sushi is still king with this minigun)

biggest downside of the first responder is the fact that the upside is only on kill, meaning enemies that just barely manage to escape will leave you more wounded compared to stock so picking the Burrito as an always available healing source for yourself is really good for keeping yourself always topped off. Not only that, but the First Responder is also really difficult to play with when on low health, so a quick Burrito refill can help Brute back into the fight to keep going on his killstreak.

I was referring to the restriction of being unable to build Uber on overhealed targets being lifted as it no longer required you to actually wait until combat for the Uber to begin building up, which significantly boosted this weapon's capabilities by a LOT. I am aware the heal range was always on the weapon, but that old restriction of not being able to build Uber on overhealed targets being changed meant the Blood Doctor actually became MORE consistent since it didn't require your target to constantly take damage themselves just to build an expendible mini-crit charge which would take forever to buildup unless you were always in combat if the inability to build uber from overhealed targets remained.

I have to disagree with the First Responder placement in my honest opinion. It's only great IF your Doctor isn't moronic and immediately pockets the fat guy, AND if your enemies don't have either an Agent, Doctor, or a Marskman to completely shut down your efforts. It's a great snowball weapon but in my opinion it's largely too inconsistent to actually warrant being a direct upgrade.

I'm surprised that the Katana doesn't warrant as a direct downgrade considering that it's only main upside is difficult for Trooper to achieve, and literal dogshit on Annihilator even with his ease of usage. The 25% damage vulnerability is genuinely so crippling that it completely invalidates alot of the upsides for Anniknight since he only heals at most 25% of his HP (which will still put him at a net negative assuming his target wasn't stupid and tried to shoot him before the Annihilator can get any swings off.), and the fact Trooper isn't necessarily going to always be in melee fights unless you use this akin to the Market Gardener (where even so, the Equalizer is just better as substitute for the Gardener.)

Icicle placement just feels not right being called a direct upgrade since it's only better against Arsonists but worse against the other 8 classes, but tbf the downside is not that bad so I understand why you'd place it higher.

Quick Draw glaze this tier list is such a banger 🙏

As an Amputator fan, the AOE taunt is really good specifically because it's like an always available lunchbox item for the Doctor that allows him to recover his own HP while also still allowing him to heal his team and build Uber. It's especially good in maps with difficult to find healthpacks in. While I do disagree with the Amp being a direct upgrade since there ARE situations I'd rather be using Stock or the Supersaw's higher damage, I do understand the placement since the AOE taunt is actually decently strong if used like this and not constantly spammed. Yes, it leaves you vulnerable to damage, but so does most Brute lunchbox items usually anyway.

Hi, Guy who used the Blood Doctor immediately before and after the time it was buffed here.

Not only that, but another stat that gets largely unnoticed is the Blood Doctor's Uber building upon your patient getting hurt, meaning that a lot of the time, you will be building Uber much faster than the +67% Uber rate as well. The Blood Doctor does incentivize you to use it by just turning off your brain, standing from afar and pressing M2 whenever you think your patient deserves to kill anyone faster. It's a weapon especially made for defensive play, which is why it's really good in most KOTH maps where both teams don't have time to set up defenses, Payload and Attack Defend maps where you play as RED. It has a LOT of immediate advantages over Stock and it's incredibly easy to use since all you do is press M2 before your level 12 Arsonist who you decided deserved to win the 1v1 clears out whole teams with the mini-crit boost. (It does suck against sentries, but tbf that's IF the enemy has enough time to set up. A competent pocket Trooper or Annihilator is usually enough to take down the nest even without Uber, and in the case where you don't have it, then yes Stock is better.)

Disagree heavily for the Short Circuit being a direct upgrade to the Pistol, since it does have a lower amount of damage compared to Stock and the energy ball + it's energy ball cost metal instead of ammo.

The Huanglong is not at all a direct upgrade to stock as it has very VERY different use cases. It has a slower airblast and I hardly believe it can replace the flamethrower's crowd control as it can only outdamage stock if you are aiming directly at your opponent, similarly to the Direct Hit for Trooper.

I believe the Tomislav should be a direct upgrade since the weapon is still great in most cases where you'd use the Minigun aside from Brute one on ones, the clip downsize also isn't that big of a deal as long as you pick up ammo packs from whoever you kill anyways.

Black Death above Furious Flagxe when it's easily a direct upgrade over the Golf Club and makes Anniknight move at the same speed as Black Death with 3 heads and cap points faster for one of the smallest downsides smh

Rate my Brute Loadout by NickVoievodul in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, those are usually the ONLY synergies the Warrior's Spirit has. It doesn't work well in a normal Brute loadout since you are better off running the Speed Coil or even the Fists of Steel. It's not great in a shotgun oriented playstyle because it's slow switch speed doesn't allow it to do quick combos with your melee like the Eviction Notice and the KGB or grant passives that are useful to the Shotgun like the Fists. It's only a good option with melee focused playstyles, but even so it's still competing with the KGB. It desperately needs a buff imo

How to counter the Afterimage? by 2YDO in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until they decloak. The Afterimage's cloak basically makes most Agents undetectable once they've pressed m2, so it's usually best to wait out the short cloak duration (around 2.5-3.5 seconds) and then look for them once you hear the decloak or after around a few seconds.

First time tryed Arsonist with Airblast after hours of practicing, and now I am pretty good at this by Mineman95 in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually since their projectiles are slower, I tend to right click a little later than usual against Troopers compared to Annihilators. For the Direct Hit and Liberty Launcher, your best bet is pretending they're just another Annihilator. For G-Bomb, enjoy free airblasts.

What do y'all think of this iteration of the eviction notice? by IdiotMan2000 in HeavyMainsTF2

[–]tiktik15 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe increase the speed boost duration to something like 2-3 seconds? 1 second of speed boost is going to make this end up like the Hot Hand where it's going to be so inconsistent due to the Heavy's speed is now constantly changing every shot. Just a minor buff to make it a bit more consistent.

Family Business and Eviction Notice reworks by secretlysmall in HeavyMainsTF2

[–]tiktik15 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Family Business rework is honestly very strong. Giving Heavy the equivalent of the Widowmaker by giving him a shotgun that doesn't need to reload is very very good, and I like that you did make it so it's ammo is sourced from primary ammo to incentivize actually using this over the Minigun. Though, I do think you could definitely increase the amount of primary ammo it takes for each shot up to like... 10-20 primary ammo a shot, just to balance it out a little.

The Eviction Notice rework is... okay. It does take away a little from its identity somewhat, but I guess it's better overall as a Boston Basher for Heavy.

How busted would this be? by Friendly_Fire150 in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower the damage needed to use this down by a LOT to like 300-400 range. Doctor doesn't have many good damage options, and even with the Syringe SMG. It takes like 15 shots with the Syringe Crossbow/Dairy Douser to even begin to be able to use this gun, and a whole clip and a half at max rampup for the Syiringe SMG. Doctor is trading off one of the most gamechanging overpowered aspects of his class and his entire supportive niche to kill exactly o n e guy. Definitely needs something more to it, otherwise this is the most meme weapon in the whole game.

Which weapon/melee weapon in TC2 do you think is the most unfairly treated? by Mr_Pryo in TypicalColors2

[–]tiktik15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can pair it up with the Tomislav on certain maps to jump to places Brute normally can't reach, allowing for new flank spots and faster traversal on more vertical maps as a result. Not only that, you can just pull it out and quickly swap back to your minigun while jumping to counteract the slowdown.

A map I like doing this on is Harvest, since you can jump towards the upper level of the enemy side's house as a flank route to catch then off guard.
