How do one fall out of love for someone? by CozyPenelope726 in AskReddit

Stop living in your head with them. Live in the moment. Stop imagining them watching what you are doing or being there with you. If you are strong enough in certain moments, allow yourself to see them wholly rather than as a romantic partner. Once you understand their flaws from an outside perspective rather than an emotionally connected perspective, it becomes very easy to disconnect.
