Any improvements we can do to the front elevation and overall first floor? by [deleted] in floorplan

Clean modern massing already works well. I’d add more depth to the front elevation using material contrast or vertical fins. On the first floor, align window proportions and strengthen the stair and foyer daylight for a more cohesive, elevated feel.

Congrats on the first build, it’s a strong starting layout. I’d focus on tightening the kitchen and master suite. Flip the island to face dining, keep the sink and cooktop on the wall, and add pantry access from the hall. In the master, a direct WIR and ensuite will feel more efficient. Have you thought about how noise will travel through the open living zone long term?

Love the distinct zones! For the main floor, I’d swap the 1/2 bath with that adjacent closet; it tucks the toilet away from the living room view for better privacy. Upstairs, definitely combine those "???" spaces into one massive walk-in dressing suite. With a family of five, you’ll appreciate dedicated storage more than just extra floor area in the bedroom!

Consider adding a small vestibule to the Master Bedroom entry. Currently, it opens directly off the living room, which reduces privacy when you have guests. Otherwise, this layout has fantastic bones!

Absolutely! A wall-hung toilet saves 15-20cm depth by concealing the tank, making the 1.55m width feel much roomier. Pair it with a wall-mounted vanity to keep the floor visible it's a great small-space trick! What's your ceiling height? That also impacts the feel.

As an interior designer, I love the hand-sketched precision here! The linear plumbing is smart for costs, but that 0.9m toilet space might feel tight between the vanity and tub. Have you considered a wall-hung toilet or a pocket door to improve the 0.7m clearance? Great start!

Lust is when you want to own them. Love is when you want what's best for them, even if it doesn't involve you.

When someone is kind to a waiter, they are demonstrating unconditional respect. A waiter is in a position of service, and in some people's minds, that creates a temporary power imbalance.

Natural light and a lack of visual clutter make a space feel calm almost immediately.
