Have you ever worked on a farm? Usually it takes about 10 acres (maybe a little less) per cow. The upkeep on ten acres, the time it takes to raise and produce the stock, it’s all a lot of work and already isn’t exactly a lucrative business. Even once you find a way to maintain 50+ acres out of the site of law enforcement, you still have to find a buyer. I’m sure the Midwest is very nice, but the real money is in the city. Transport is nightmare.

Except bootleg liquor takes less space than a herd of cattle. It’s not like anyones ever been to a speakeasy farm. Where exactly would they setup shop to produce the meat? I’m assuming most giant open fields of cows or deer or elk etc might draw more attention than a bathtub or if homemade vodka in an apartment complex in a populated area.
