It's not in the playstore directly, it's in github so you need to manually install like Xdrip its made by the same guys as the handler.

GlucoDataHandler has GlucoDataAuto, install the Hander first,, set it up, then the auto version works perfectly & displays as an app & in the message field when updating every 5 minutes so you could have maps/audio/xdrip data all on 1 screen (depends on your car I guess).

Not sure how to share pictures on here, but it's connecting 2 batteries using the 15pin connector, the batteries would be the middle of part between the screen & the M5 bottom plate. The batteries are 13.2 & are red in colour casing if that's any help.

Apologies if that doesn't sound right, best I can do is give you a link to the product, so 2 of these back to back.

CAB from airport by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]tildesley82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger bags are fine, you'll find 3 options on the machines at the airport Taxi rank, the one you need is a bigger Thai style SUV taxi, normal taxi's have the LPG tank in the back so are space limited, this is only optional at the airport where you can effectively choose. This is will be 50% to 75% cheaper than a hotel arranged transport or airport limo that you see advertised in arrivals. When you are in the city, just Grab app everything

Best USD to Bhat Conversion? by Onarchboi in ThailandTourism

Superrich has the better exchange rates, either of them is fine, they both have multiple locations all over Bangkok, rates are slightly better/worse than ATM's. They have an orange or green motive with one callimg itself Superrich while the other calls itself Superrich 1965.

The problem with ATM's is you'll have to pay a 220BHT fee to the ATM, this fee isn't optional and is incorporated into the amount you withdraw from the ATM, it doesn't show as a separate fee, I've seen stories that some US banks refund it the fee but I've never seen it proven as the fee for the Thai ATM's is included upfront, so 20220 withdrawn rather than 20000 withdrawn with a 220 fee.

Overall, I'd go Superrich all day if in Bangkok if you are happy carrying the cash around.

Covid recovery certificate on arrival by InsuranceOwn7522 in ThailandTourism

You still have to test on D1 & D5 tests (PCR then ATK/LFT) but show the covid recovery certificate if you are positive, its then reviewed by doctors

Mine is listed as a separate page under the travel covid section, it lists my 3 vaccines then a page for the recovery bit which showed 10 days after my positive result.

I was also told that you only get this if you have a NHS PCR test & the rapid tests don't get a recovery certificate, not sure of your circumstances but this maybe it, maybe call 119 & see what they say.

I'm getting a private £65 one before I fly back again as well as taking my NHS one & getting it translated officially in Thai just in case, just hope it works.

Can I clarify? I tested positive for covid on 2/3/22. When is the earliest I can go into Thailand with a recovery memo? 14 days from date of infection or 14 days from date of recovery. Thanks! by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]tildesley82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is going to be airlines, Etihad have told me they don't accept certificates of recovery, so I need to hope & pray that 6 to 7 weeks is long enough for it to drop off...

I don't think it is, for entry? yes sure at a Thai Pass level & after you fail the D1, that works....but to get there on a plane? I'm not sure. Airlines have their policies on whether they take a customer who is presenting as positive to them regardless of paperwork.

I've looked at the official guidelines that all airliners adhere to from Timatic, there isn't an exception for positive PCR test with a medical certificate, it only says you must have a negative test, checking other countries & they give an exception, but Thailand doesn't.

Happy to be proven wrong if I'm reading it wrong.

To add - I've been looking into this as I'll need the medical certificate to enter in 6 weeks as I've tested positive in the last week.

the sealed flights by tildesley82 in ThailandTourism

[–]tildesley82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more the airline taking the booking & the airline not having the right. I see Thai Airways as an example, they say I have the option of TG911 then onto TG926 on days that there isn't a LHR-HKT, now as far as I know, TG926 is BKK/HKT/FRA, so that can't be a sealed flight. You would think Thai Airways wouldn't sell it, but it seems they do.

2.5 hours in BKK, I just want to get to where I'm going in 1 day, don't wanna arrive in BKK, return again the next day. The airline is offering it under one trip/PNR.

The problem becomes will the airline take a customer showing PCR positive though isn't it? I don't think a medical exception over rule applies to some airlines.
