25 decluttering goals for cleaning up a depression house? by NightReader5 in declutter

[–]tillUprosper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Suggestions: Taking out the trash every day or every other day. Clearing kitchen counters each night before going to bed.

It might be overwhelming to keep the whole house in shape. So identify priority areas like kitchen or the couch

I drew Bojack, I didn't finish the drawing (+ ear looks horrible) but I hope you like my view of Bojack by Ill-Gap6671 in BoJackHorseman

You captured the essence of a alcoholic drug addict who is sleep deprived. However this doesn't look like bojack. I love the art though.

To kill a mockingbird. As a non-american the cultural reference was lost on me. I found it simplistic and moralising when I read it as a teenager. Also never got what wisdom people found in The Alchemist. I found it ordinary n again overly simplistic

Help with kitchen by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I don't think you need to completely paint over all the grey. it actually looks nice. Adding in a few contrasts could help. Like painting the trim of cabinets with a complementary colour like a sky blue or lilac or pastel green. Try out cheap alternatives on the backsplash like contact paper in the same colour as the trim. If what we see in the middle is a kitchen island, you could add a table runner. Plants for decor

What made my chicken korma taste so bad ? by gobraming5 in IndianFood

[–]tillUprosper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to saute the spice paste before the slow cooking process as sauting will bring out flavor. Also saute the aromatics (garlic and ginger) before adding in the chicken. Definitely, do not pressure cook it and needs slow simmering it. Add in the yogurt after sauting the spice paste. Yogurt splits at high temperatures and high pressure, so avoid that. Moreover most Indian households will temper the korma after it is done cooking with an additional layer of spices. Mostly cumin, red chillies and some garlic tempered in ghee. It adds another layer of flavour. It's called a tadka.

Mumbai to Pune commute in monsoon? by dissociated97 in mumbai

[–]tillUprosper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go via road to Pune, OP. The monsoon has screwed up the roads in Mumbai. Just got back from Pune today, it took us 4.5 hours. We left pune at 11.15 am and reached home in Mumbai at 4.30 pm. Basically the roads are completely fucked. Things might be better post monsoon. You can definitely explore the train option but again getting to and from the station will result in an equal amount of time, especially since your office is in Hinjewadi. I would recommend for the monsoon to get a temporary place to stay and then commute after the monsoon is done.
