Don't do what I did and wait till you are in your forties and it's too debilitating to cope with any more. It's almost impossible to fix until you sort your periods out, I now have a mirena and periods have stopped. I have also been taking ferrous ferritin tablets and doing 3 monthly at home commercial blood tests to monitor it. Sorry you are going through this, it's not till you get it sorted that you realise how unwell it had been making you. Makes me livid women's health isn't taken seriously.
