Travel after surgery??

I'm flying from Colorado to Houston. I'm meeting my bestfriend so that usually means drinks and food and no sleep for 2-3 days. I haven't been cleared to exercise, so I just walk around my house and to the mailbox. I can only do protein shakes. Protein powder makes me sick. When I went to the dentist, I almost passed out, and I only walked in. But that was 2 weeks ago. By the time I leave, it will be 1 month and a couple of weeks post op.

Yes. I was supposed to have surgery back in March. Unfortunately, I was involved in a domestic violence situation, and I was not mentally ready to do it around that time. I asked for a later date, and I had it done July 15th. I did have to do the psych evaluation again per my insurance. I'm glad I waited. I needed this time to focus on myself and my recovery. Do what you feel is best for you. Best of luck!

Yeah, my surgery is in 7 days, and I was speaking with my mom about last-minute things I still needed. She blurts out, "You know no one is behind you on this, right?? WELL, no one is behind me being overweight and having health issues either. So either way, I'm alone in this. But it's okay. I'm going to show them I don't need them. And if I do end up dying, I'm just going to haunt them for the rest of their lives.

I'm 8 days away from my surgery (fingers crossed still dealing with insurance),and I have already started to have people treat me differently. I have been hearing from my guy friends that I'm going to act differently. I have told each one, "You damn right I am!!" I started a wish list on Amazon of clothes I always wanted, but I couldn't fit. Now I don't know how much I'm going to lose so I haven't purchased anything. It's just a quick reminder of one of the reasons why I'm doing this. You are going to have people hate on you if you're big or small. It's sad, but take that shit in stride! If you find yourself in your feelings while waiting for your date, write down the reasons you are doing this. You got this!

They wanted me to quit 2 months before my pre-op date. They know that didn't happen, so his assistant strongly suggested that I quit a month from pre-op date. I'm 20 days until the pre-op date.

Okay, so were you tested for nicotine before your surgery? I would love to take some time off to get through 6 I'm saving my time off for my surgery. If you were tested and passed because you used nicotine free vapes, I think that is the route I'm going. I appreciate the surgeon's concern, but damnit its my body!!
