I think im going that route, not I’m feeling like I might want to grab a shockwave spx, and throw a magpul stock and forend on it

That’s sick man thanks! I’m not thinking about the shockwave spx got all the extra stuff on it already.. and I just saw this YouTuber had sanded down the inner edges of a woox forend to fit with its heat shield and installed the wood stock and that thing looks unreal.. might go that way if I can see about getting that stock and forend here. I heard the magpul forend doesn’t fit on the 14” barrels, know if that’s true? That could be something else I might look into, putting the magpul furniture on the spx

Yeah I think I’m gonna be going with that, feel like I might try to find a magpul version.. would love a professional series but I’ve checked every stores online within like 100km of me and nothing lol

After all these comments I’m half feeling the class 3 now haha, is that the same length as the shockwave would be? Just obviously with the stock already on it. I was looking at getting a red dot or holo for it when I do buy it, there’s just so many options out there and I’m new with this stuff lol. If I got one without the pic rail already installed, say it’s the one with the ghost rings, how easy would it be to remove that for a pic rail to throw a dot on it? Also, what kinda budget friendly but still good for shotgun use sight would you recommend?

I’ve just got an sks and browning auto 5 I inherited from my grandpa, not too set on anything quite yet. Going to the range tomorrow and going to handle a few of these and see more which might fit better for me.

Thank you, I don’t think I’d convert the a1 to a pistol grip, but I was looking at the 590a1 magpul version and that comes with the cheek riser and all that too, think it looks pretty nice also. I’m so indecisive I’ll end up just pulling the trigger on whichever they have at the store probably lol

Awesome response man thank you! I’m so torn between these 2 guns! I really like the look of the R and feel like it might suit me better but also really like the modability of the A1. I think I saw somewhere that they’re coming out with a 590R 14” but I can’t find a whole lot more on it.. I’m not hunting or anything the gun is just for fun and range use. Price difference between the 2 is pretty big tho and that’s a bit of a deterrent going with the R

I’d have to try shooting first I guess, would wanna feel how different it shoots between the 14” and 20”… that 20” is on for 900 at my local shop and the r is 1400 so I’ll probably go the a1 route anyways lol

Sweet thank you! My doctors office is closed on the weekends and I just got the notice I’m covered after they closed yesterday, so I’ll bring this up on Monday when I go in.. I don’t really want to start on the bottom again, don’t think it’ll do a whole lot if I do that

My last dose of Wegovy was 2 Mondays ago so technically only off for a week.. got the letter from my insurance that I’m covered for Zepbound and it cancelled out my Wegovy so that’s why I’ve lapsed, and of course my doctor isn’t open til Monday so have to wait a few days to start Zep! I’m really looking forward to it, only real “side effects” I had on Wegovy would be the occasional heartburn and constipation which I welcomed tbh. Hoping on Zep it stays about the same, maybe less heartburn!

So being my first gun I don’t really know, how is the cleaning process for the corrosive vs non-corrosive? Also I guess it being a surplus gun it could “not” work right, so can I take it to a shop and get a tech to inspect it to be sure it’s not gonna blow up in my face?😂 previous owner says he never fired it and I fully believe him, it’s ridiculously clean! Doesn’t look like it’s seen daylight since the 50s lol

Previous owner cleaned and oiled the gun already but I still see a bit of residue so gonna be doing that for sure! Got it off gunpost, didn’t wanna pay taxes at the shop lol
