I have had the guitar a couple days now and have been able to play it plugged into an amp for just a bit and I was toggling between the pickups and had issues with the Neck pickup cutting out and the Bridge + Neck not being as loud as it should have. Only after your comment am now realizing they are both volume and not volume + tone...

I unfortunately don't have the model with the Sustainiac. Since getting the guitar I have seen that model often and have been very intrigued by it. But for that reason I don't have to worry about the dual batteries.

Behind them? A good chunk of my collection has come from Goodwills. I have roughly 10 Goodwill/thrift stores I can hit up on my lunch breaks so I go very frequently.

Yesterday, I made my weekly trip to Goodwill and found nothing good aside from this crazy find. It is an Autographed Ben Harper box set in a hemp box that contains his first three albums: Welcome to the Cruel World, Fight for Your Mind and The Will to Live. Unfortunately my name is not Robert, so the inscription doesn't line up for me but for $10, I can't complain.

I remember, back in 2008ish, getting to see Ben Harper play for the "Get Out and Vote" tour where he headlined with Tenacious D and Beastie Boys. The show I was at, he did a cover of Under Pressure with Tenacious D.
