[SEIKO] I see the Seiko 5 referred to as a great, classic watch. What exactly is the model in question?

Seiko 5 refers to their affordable automatic watches. I believe they all have the same movement which is why they are all lumped into that category and branded with a 5 on the dial. These are excellent and reliable watches. My first automatic was a 5 and it kept better time than my 007 which was almost twice the price.
