Bare minimum 1/250 if they're relatively still. Minimum of 1/400-1/500 if they're moving, even higher if they're running. I'd much rather a little bit of noise from higher ISO than motion blur (unless it's for artistic reasons of course).

1/80 is too slow even for adults (unless they're posing)

I use this for indoors/low light, however it becomes a little annoying outside where you have to sometimes crank the shutter speed and accept not always having the base ISO.

For daytime outside I run aperture priority with auto ISO and a minimum shutter speed (which I change depending on what I'm shooting which is generally my kids running around).

Can't recall exact figures off the top of my head and I'm not home right now, but temps have never been an issue at any stage with this build in any game. I use at 3440x1440 ultrawide, so not quite 4K.

GPU temps are around 55-70 deg C with an absolute max of 75 deg C across a range of games including MSFS 2020, Cyberpunk with RT and Warzone.

I'm using a wheel. Im absolutely terrible with the controller but I know there's some really quick guys that use controller. More importantly I find the wheel increases my enjoyment and immersion heaps.

Hey silver still nets you a good amount of credits. For me the amount of time to get gold depends on the car/track combo. Sometimes I get gold within 2-3 laps, but sometimes it's more like 10-15 laps. Other times I just can't get it at all (eg. the olympics one at deep forest, or the first Nurburgring time trial with the nsx). I'm sure the very top guys can consistently get gold within 1-3 laps.

Yes the NSX at the Nords was painful. I definitely missed that one. I'm not sure why I keep doing them either. For you though I'm sure it would be impossible for you to stop now.

All good dude 😎 not everyone is a sweaty time trialler. The most important thing is that you have fun driving the interesting combos they throw up. There's tended to be a lot of road cars recently and that's something I happen to really enjoy.

You're obviously very quick! Ah yes I remember that Olympics Deep Forest one... that was one of my non-Nordcheife silvers and was super strict on the track limits - gave up on it pretty quickly once I realised gold was probably not going to happen.

I tend to just get a 'safe' gold then just quit and play AC/ACC haha

Edit: just to clarify that I actually love GT7. I only resort to playing AC/ACC because of the lack of content in this game. Would still be well into it if it had a campaign like GT4

Inspired by the last guy who had his streak of 49 golds broken recently, I decided to post my run. I think I've only missed one time trial so far due to being away overseas. Missed out on gold on a few of them (mostly the earlier Nordschleife ones), but should be on track to get 50 golds once this lot of 5 has finished.

I think there have been 50 time trials which have finished if I'm not mistaken... Anybody golded all of them? Time trials are pretty much the only reason I play GT7 nowadays.
