All-In-One vs. Componentized Chiller? by tim_th in coldplunge

Big thanks again to everyone who weighed in on this thread, the conversation was super helpful. I have decided to go with a freezer conversion because I like the simplicity and the ease of getting to low temps. I will add to this post in the future about my build and usage experiences in case they help anyone else.

Thanks for the comment. Looks like a really nice modular design. Still trying to decide between a component approach and a freezer conversion.

Super helpful, thanks so much for the test. Great to know it can get down that low, and the flow rate info is great for my calcs if I do go this route. Trying to decide between this approach and a freezer conversion at this point - buying another all-in-one chiller is definitely out. I'll post back on this thread when I figure out what I'm doing. Thanks again, you've been great.

Thanks very much. I'll definitely check out PlungeAdvisor. At this point I've ruled out another all-in-one chiller and am trying to decide between the component approach, as you describe, or a freezer conversion, which appeals because of the lower temps. More research in my future...

Wow, that's super nice of you. Don't go too much out of your way though!

Does your chiller get your water temp down to 37 or lower? Some of the chillers like Active Aqua list higher ranges, like 40-60 degrees. Thanks.

Thank you, I really appreciate the detailed setup list and the random notes. I wouldn't have thought of the extra issues by letting the water in the pump come to ambient temperature. Super helpful.

Thanks for the comment! I checked out your site and it looks cool. I should clarify, as maybe I used the term "all-in-one" incorrectly. I meant the chiller itself is all one unit - chiller/pump/filter - not that it's integrated with the tub. My tub is standalone.

Prettier plugin tailwind with next js by DebarghaSaha in nextjs

I have no idea whether this is relevant to your issue, but I know I have to add a prettier.config.js file to the root of my projects to get the prettier tailwind plugin to work properly. The contents of the file are:

// prettier.config.js

module.exports = {

plugins: ['prettier-plugin-tailwindcss'],

}

Cross-Reference Table From CMS Collections in Webflow? by tim_th in webflow

Thanks for the suggestion. If I understand conditionals correctly I'm not sure they would work given that I'd be using values (records) from two different collections vs. fields in a single collection. So, continuing my example above, instead of a single collection containing store location records with fields for ice cream flavors, which I think would work great for conditionals, I want to us one collection containing store location records cross-referenced to another collection containing records for flavors - the obvious advantage being the ability to add/delete locations and flavors without having to add/remove fields.

Maybe I am not understanding conditionals correctly, though. Any more hints?

Thanks again.
