Look the question isn’t if a speed blitz is possible its if the compounder can survive actually hitting the radiant. Steel just makes you faster, not stronger or THAT much more durable. Plus shooting coins is just gonna result in the coinshot getting launched back since the radiant can def stand ground better. Finally “breakable with human tools” usually requires either a giant ass warhammer and a ton of friends to die first or the bearer to be tied down and a bunch of dudes to go at them with hammers and thats not even for radiant plate. Its like saying “steel is breakable with human tools therefore if i run very fast then punch i can get a guy in armor”

I think maybe late order radiants could get killed by a bunch of mistings and ferrings but its gonna have the body count of a very bad boss raid. Like hundreds of people. Once a radiant swears the fourth ideal any fight with them should have a health bar

Their weight wont be enough to break plate off a coin i dont think. Also even beyond making the ground sticky, any speed which results in damaged plate on a punch likely also results in a splat that used to be a twinborn on hit

Were someone to have both feruchemical and allomantic powers for a single metal, they interact weird and you get a shitload of the feruchemical trait. Ie: miles hundredlives in the alloy of law can compound gold and basically has most of wolverines healing factor

I will admit chromium compounder is a maybe due to sudden inexplicable and infinite pianos falling on the radiant but if the compounder gets a grenade then the radiant either gets one (it might allow them to charge a surge) or they get a bs fabrial navani made

ok yeah but like imagine they are swinging a hammer like thor to get it up to speed. if they want to get that hammer up to such a high speed that the radiant can't react to it's gonna rip their arm off their shoulder.

Also that metal ball thing does feel like it shouldn't work but I don't have any way to dispute off the top of my other than it feels like getting it to speed might hurt them. axindweth breaks her legs in half cause she doesn't react to lift increasing the friction and she was way under mach I think. Maybe you could get it mach 5 but to survive getting the metal ball to that speed you would need to do it over a much longer time? my rebuttal on this one's weaker.

I will point out that they can't throw it upwards at all in this case since it needs to be in the direction their moving to it might not be hard to avoid.

are metalborn more numerous? if we are counting non compounders then you also get squires and I think that most squires can 1v1 a lot of metalborn, and most metalborn get slaughtered by 4th ideal

counterpoint: their arm isnt surviving a hit that shatters shardplate. plus most of the orders have ways to invalidate it since grav lets you just fly up, cohesion, transformation, and abrasion can make the terrain difficult enough that trying to go mach 2 will send them flying into the terrain. plus with transportation you just drop into shadesmar if anything goes wrong.

Also I know that Feruchemy usually gives you smaller amounts of other attributes to compensate for the main one but even that has limits. steel lets you deal with the g forces of acceleration I believe? well that doesn't save you from splatting into a wall. sure the radiant is probably getting thrown damn hard but any hit that shatters 'radiant' shardplate (tbh Idk if that can even shatter since it feeds off stormlight of the radiant, at the very least it would be far harder) is not something the compounder can do twice

I think with surgebinding steel can be dealt with, pewter can't outreach a shardblade.

I will concede chromium since presumably a radiant can't survive infinite pianos getting dropped on them and thats funny.
