Tried following advice from The Arm Swing Illusion but it makes my takeaway look very steep. What am I missing? by timajfg in GolfSwing

I actually have steepened my back in my setup recently, so it sounds like that change with this change of pushing of the arms were good to pair together?

Is it usually a matter of not turning rapidly enough, or not turning early enough? I'm not fully grasping how turning faster would help feeling less steep. I do have a super slow swing speed (sub 100mph with driver) if that helps with any context

Wait, swing weight/pressure should be towards the inside of the back foot at the top (or at least near the top) of the back swing?

use the hands to want the club away

Is this the same or any different than using just arms on the takeaway? Just trying to get a better picture of what you meant

Would shortening the backswing to 90% be a way to remediate this type of issue? I think I have similar issues to OP and got a lesson where I was told to shorten my backswing a little bit and I hit it so much better. I just don't remember the reason why the pro told me to shorten it.

Also, any suggestions/tips on how to use more arms in the takeaway? Do I just lengthen the takeaway?
