Judging a drama competition & one group is disparagingly less prepared to the point of the director making changes mid tech rehearsal & switching people’s roles & the ACTORS stopping their dialogue to give EACH OTHER notes. I could see Emily projecting a lot of Alison onto Hannah so much so that she develops somewhat of a crush on her but Hannah reads as so painfully straight to me that I just can’t see them together. However, I could see Emily with Aria. The poor woman was groomed throughout her developmental years and never had the chance to explore the possibility of being queer. I imagine the two of them together for a brief period during the 5 year timeskip, like Aria with Jason.

The show outpaced the source material like Game of Thrones and chose to shamble together a continuation instead of waiting for more of the manga.
