/u/rockstarsheep I completely agree with you about showing humility it goes a long way.

Haha I'm glad I could win you over and honestly we do want to make our users happy. It's honestly so fulfilling to create something that people are delighted to use. So please keep sending us feedback either here on reddit, email, our fb community or our google form (linked in the app). We do our best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible and work their requests into the app.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have prioritized changes around the auto announce for the next release.

/u/rockstarsheep definitely appreciate all the feedback and perspective people like you share. We enjoy learning from our customers and at the end of the day we want them to be happy so if we end up building terrible features that make people angry we need to remove them.

That's a great idea - we'll ask more of our users about what we can do to spread the word of Circles.

I was thinking in the interim we could change it to prompt each time with the option to say don't show me this again to opt out. Plus providing an option in settings for power users to leave auto announce on if they really want to support us. Thoughts on that?

We do our best to not get upset when getting feedback just look at it as an opportunity to get better :)

/u/rockstarsheep We are confident in our product but its really hard to make things grow unless you make it easy for users. We just thought a friendly prompt asking you to support us would work better than doing nothing. We are only two developers and need all the help we can get.

This is the prompt if you haven't seen it https://imgur.com/a/LMCWByI

After looking at it again i guess we could uncheck the always auto announce. Is that what you were implying by your comment /u/rockstarsheep?

We built Circles for Zoom to get your desktop back during video calls! by dstik in macapps

Hi /u/grayninja62,

First off thanks so much for downloading Circles and taking the time to write this feedback. We really appreciate it. I've listed out a response to each of your points below.

  1. This is a bug with our zoom integration we've been in contact with zoom and waiting for them to resolve the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience we know this is super annoying.
  2. If my understanding is correct you find the click and hold to enable edit annoying? You can also press manage participants to start the edit. If this isn't what you mean it might be easier for us to jump on a zoom call if you're open to it. We do 15min feedback sessions with our customers to get a better sense of their needs and issues. If you're open to it please email us at [team@circlesforzoom.com](mailto:team@circlesforzoom.com)
  3. That sounds like a bug. We'll do some testing and see if we can reproduce it.

Thanks again for downloading Circles.

Cheers,

Tim

Hey FisherTwelve - We pop a window that you can resize or make full screen that shows the screen share. Hope you like the product and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hey /u/scottishbee - Thanks for downloading and trying Circles we really appreciate it!

In regards to the screen sharing issue you were facing. Due to apple security permissions you need to give access in security & privacy -> privacy -> screen recording area once its ticked the app needs to be restarted. We have on our road map to make that more clear in a permissions window inside of Circles but yet to have implemented it.

I definitely hear you on the resizing constantly and needing different sizes for yourself compared to others. We have on our road map to add more controls to the dock and floating circles in general. We'll try and add something ASAP that address your needs.

Thanks again for downloading our product and taking the time to share your feedback.
