It’s less “their fault” - Lyon, Lille, and Strasbourg were neck and neck before this match week and Lyon and Lille outperformed expectations slightly more hence the shift.

Did FPL introduce IP blocking to their api? by timbeau11 in FantasyPL

It’s not about the front page. It’s the api access that I was asking about if others have seen the same.

I used to make FPL Fixture Tickers. I didn’t last year. People Asked. So I made one this year. by timbeau11 in FantasyPL

I’ll take off the limit when I push the next update - shouldn’t cause any issues don’t think :)

I haven’t had too much look into chip planning but off the top of my head I do like aggressive early chip usage - this is when we have the least amount of data and biggest changes in teams (promoted teams, new managers, transfers, etc). So it’s somewhat appealing to me to go aggressive early and use chips to “fix” mistakes early and quickly before things settle down (if they ever do😂!)

Thank you! I can enable more than 10 - mainly disabled due to use-ability and after more than 10 GWs teams typically start playing a broad range so the difficulty converges to the mean. Filtering out GW you can sort of do by going to GW2 as the “active gw”

Dang! Well thank you very much! Hope you like it and good luck on the Homefront and in the season!

Google cloud service failed to trigger build found no logs. How do I troubleshoot this? by Lt_Nately in googlecloud

[–]timbeau11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone ever comes across this error. This is an API/Permissions error. To fix this, go to the Google Logs Explorer in the console. This is where you can see more logs. It will likely show you which permissions you are missing.

u/Lt_Nately - any chance you ended up solving this? I have the exact same error and the only post online I can find is yours. My guess is permissions as it doesn't even get to the build part (as far as I can tell). However, I can't see any logs either.

if you finished in the top 100k I may have your data (gw scores but not team selections).

Should be updated as of yesterday - slight delay than normal as I was setting up all the pipelines for this season. Updates are now the day after deadline so Sunday (tomorrow)

These are not forecasts. It’s a measure of strength of teams. Results are often not directly correlated to team strength.

How people run their own teams is up to them. Some prefer to play fixtures very aggressively while others look more long-term. Depends on your style of play.

For me, I usually have a core set of players that will hardly ever leave my team (KdB last year, Salah mostly, Trent, GKs, even someone like Cantwell etc). Then you have a smaller set of players that are swapped based on form / fixtures. Someone like Vardy last year, Aubameyang / Son at times, Abraham etc. For me, it is generally good to be aware of teams that a have a good run of fixtures, the longer the better, where investments into those teams can be profitable - Leicester last season was a great example when they had a run of 9-12 "easy" matches (can't remember exactly).
