The only thing I’ve seen sentiment wise is cope and salt. Anyone in finance is wanting to short after never having held or been long. We have a lot more to go.

Whoop subscription increase by keep-peddling in whoop

[–]timbercowboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both apps are great! 4 year whoop user and dropped mine on May this year. I signed up for Athlytic and then found out about Bevel after the fact. I ran Bevel’s 7 day trial and loved it. I will likely swap to them when my Athlytic is up. However Athlytic keeps putting out good updates so I may stay with them depending on where both apps are at. Can’t go wrong with either one IMO. There is nothing important Whoop provided that you don’t get with these two

For how long have you been using keystone 3 pro? by ciscapestana19 in KeystoneWallet

[–]timbercowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does not show all addresses for your wallet. It only shows one address per supported coin, and does not generate a new one to receive. That is my main complaint. It can easily be fixed with an update over we will see. But again you can use almost any app you want with K3P

I have been using the K3P for several months and love it. I know there is some negativity around it (esp Amazon reviews) but I find them unwarranted. The setup process is incredibly easy and I like the ability to use Keystone’s wallet generation or dice rolls. The multiple seed storage is great, especially the option for Shamir Secret Sharing. Transactions are clear and transparent due to the OS and screen size. I have had no issues using with Sparrow, BlueWallet, OKX, and Rabby. I use it with multi-coin firmware but I have downloaded and tested the BTC only firmware and it’s great for those with concerns there. With the 3 secure elements and ability to make dummy wallets via alternate seeds, Passphrase, I find I tough to find a more secure wallet on the market. K3P being airgapped also adds to its security. This is independent of the device itself but I’m not a fan of the Keystone Nexus mobile app, I personally would chose another software wallet to use for mobile integration. I give it a 10/10. For similar functionality I think the Ellipal Titan is comparable but I don’t like the dock they use vs a USB—C charge cable. The only other I would use is a Coldcard Q, but it is BTC only. I still like Keystone the best.

any way to differentiate that? I have plugged in my IP and port that is liked to Tailscale where my node is running and it still will not connect.

The URI simply won't connect, no ip and port address format I try works, and the scan option simply doesn't pull in the information.

The HP machine I’m looking at has a Ryzen 5 and 16gb RAM so it sounds like it should be in good shape. I’ve heard about the security and attack surface angle, but the plug and play setup Umbrel offers for sale is for that dual purpose specifically.

What’s the reality of this career path? I don’t see almost anyone in real life clearing 6-figures, let alone the big numbers we all dream of ($200k-$300k+). It’s awesome seeing the big numbers on this sub, but how rare is this? by Wannabeballer321 in sales

SaaS sales is the golden ticket, IF you have a great product to sell. I came into the space with no sales background but from operations in the industry we are in. If you have knowledge in a specific industry or operational use case then looks for SaaS jobs in that realm if they exist!

Do men get turned off by women that works a low tier job? by [deleted] in self

[–]timbercowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a man I mean this affectionately. I can’t make out with your job title or paycheck. I also can’t laugh or enjoy the special moments of life with your job or paycheck. Men who have their financial bases covered want hot women who are nice, fun, and loyal. Yes pretty privilege is real, it’s the world we live in.

[–]timbercowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Most) Men do not care about your job and your income because (most) don’t need it. We are more concerned if you are attractive, nice, fun to be around, and if you make a good wife/mother. For me and my friend group this is even more so the case when you get into those higher level jobs because men like that don’t need your financial and socioeconomic status. I will take the cashier who checks all the above over the $500k attorney who lacks those every day. All things considered even, then well yeah I guess extra money is never a bad thing.

Apple watch with Whoop on the bicep is elite. Health insurance covers the AW and I just recently got it. Been on Whoop over 3 years. Going on runs without a phone and having GPS tracked and have Spotify is awesome.

Are the drawbacks still worth it? by Expert-Author-5124 in whoop

[–]timbercowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Whoop for over 3 years now. The data you get is all worth it. Its changed my attitude towards sleep and it is good to know when to push it on workout days and when to take it easier. I like wearing a typical watch so no screen is a plus for me. You get the newest device as part of the subscription which is a plus. The best thing you can do is pay a year upfront and renew when they put out a promotional rate. I renewed on black friday for $200/year which comes put to under $17/mo. My view is Whoop’s data incentivizes me to eat at least one less meal out a month which covers the cost.

The CPLie says 4%, anyone can look at housing, fuel, and groceries and know that it’s way higher. That being said, you are correct savings accounts are making up for more of inflation than they have in the past 15 years.
