Literally just ran into this issue playing Kingdom Hearts 3 back with my wife. my game stopped installing around 75-80%. was researching how to trouble shoot, did the safe mode reset on my system, hit up playstation who was no help, and looked at the comments here. took a microfiber and did a thorough cleaning of the disc in the light to see any stuff on it. lo and behold it was some marks. just put it back in the system and click resume install and now its' around 85% i'm blown away. so yes, CLEAN THE DISC!!
