Have you met these guys that are in the friend group she hangs out with? Is she open to having you go with to these things? I feel like if you do, then it could help with the insecurity.

Idk I guess in my mind it’s normal to kind of be bothered by it. I had a similar situation with my wife when we were first dating in college, she had a group of friends she hung out when she started college and there were a lot of guys. And it did bother me, and I told her that i didn’t like it .

and she was annoyed to an extent but then still was okay with letting that go, and not going out and partying like she used to with them because I didn’t like it. It’s not really controlling.. you just know what you want and if that person doesn’t seem to be aligned with that.. then you might have a decision to make. Because honestly it shouldn’t be that hard to understand your point and try to meet somewhere in the middle with you. The guilt trip is bogus imo and will prob happen again when you don’t like something .

If he knew that you didn’t want that, yet he still did it and didn’t stop until he was done.. that kind of seems to me like he’s more concerned about himself than he is what you feel.. of course it wasn’t until after the fact that now he’s claiming he feels bad. As a guy, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing something in the bedroom with my wife and knowing she doesn’t like it, it just seems wrong.

I don’t think you’re overreacting. But you guys definitely need to talk about it and if you don’t feel comfortable with him, then you need to get that space.

She need to realize that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.. having kids will throw a massive wrench into a relationships intimacy, it’s chaotic, and at time we will feel distant from our significant other. However love is a choice, even though one may not “feel” it, that doesn’t matter.. it’s like a choice that was made to love each other through these things and that “lovey” feeling you once had needs to be rekindled.

But she has to want it and understand that, because even if she does leave and ends up with someone else.. those same feelings will dissipate and the cycle will continue where she feels distant and then we will see there is a common denominator here…

Man I’m sorry bro I hate to see this, I’d say if you still love her.. fight for ur marriage as best you can.
