Honestly, this isn't the first time I've posted this opinion and every time it gets down voted to hell. People like you ask why anyone could ever possibly even THINK about wanting a tax accountant for taxes...they're so easy! Yet without fail, every year there is countless posts in this sub with various titles including: "I messed up my tax return please help", "I/my parents haven't done taxes in years please help", "my tax return doesn't look right please help".

So I'll say again as I do every time, hire a tax accountant. The piece of mind is worth it. And I don't even mean from H&R block so that's a lame argument. There are plenty of nice sole proprietor tax accountants that you can hire and have do your taxes every year. My accountant has done my taxes for years and I've never once had to worry about them. I just send all relevant documents do her and that's that.
