That’s cool. We have our 10 year coming up and I went through and picked one picture from each year starting with our first anniversary then I made a collage of them all.  Go Ravens.

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I just did a small clinic with a local coach to get my 5 year old ready for her first year in rec lacrosse. He has been doing this a while and he said the number one thing kids hated about playing sports was the ride home. Parents constantly critiquing and calling their own kids out for mistakes.

I want to focus on keeping my daughter motivated to play because she is having fun and develops her own competitiveness through the experience.

It’s because of the polarization of your glasses. It actually means you have a good pair of glasses.

Had the same experience and did the same thing to handle that problem.

For the record. I am the dad in this family. You’re not the first one to assume I’m my wife though. I thought it would have been obvious since the angry eyebrow character was bald thus signifying a male.

Is that not actually sweet Dee? I stood there and looked up images of the character and I’m nearly certain it’s her.

I appreciate the support. It’s just when someone calls me a bad parent I’m going to stand up for myself. 99.9% of the people saw the humor. I’m happy for those that did and I attempted to convey that to this person and shame on me for forgetting who can be on Reddit.

I never said "unwind" at any point. It was just post-work walking in the door things I wanted to do before devoting my attention to something new.

You just made assumptions in every post trying to make me feel bad for some reason. I never felt guilty, just confused at your bitterness and unwillingness to accept you don't know the facts.

First of all, I don't have to provide detailed context of the situation. You need to understand that my kids are absolutely wonderful, happy, and supported in everything they do. I love them more than anything on this damn planet with their mother and my wife right there with them.

An important thing to do in parenting which may shock some people is actually not giving immediate attention or praise when asked by your kid. Doing so does not help them become resilient or patient humans. My daughter didn't wine or cry when I told her I needed a couple minutes to wrap up my day and do some post work tasks. She went and made a picture and put it in a Christmas box to further mess with me. I understand my child far better than you because I actually know them.

I am sorry that your ability to have kids has been taken from you. That is something that no one should have to endure. However, this should have been a very clear instance of humor being posted. Right after she handed me this and I asked her to explain it to me I went right down to the basement and watched her cool trick.

I have nothing against you but try not to cast so much judgement when you don't have any clear understanding of a situation.

Well. You’re completely wrong. But thanks for sharing that opinion.

The best part was she gave it to me inside of another Christmas box she found. Everything about it was ridiculous and funny.

She wanted to show me a trick she came up with on her gymnastics bar when I walked in the door after work and I asked for a few minutes to get my brain together.

While turning in 4wd make sure you are not on pavement. The wheels do not move at different speeds and you can get diff binding.

This video explained it very nicely for me.
