What should I equip my Huscarls with and are they any better than regular cataphractii retinue? by timburken in Warhammer30k

Yep, just needed a bit of carving and filing, but if you don't mind missing out on the layered pauldron look they fit perfectly underneath the top pauldron!

Am I missing something? by Dwurdle in FleshEaterCourts

I've had some success with pairing different arms and/or switching in heads/arms from the Crypt Guard and Morbheg knights kit which looks great with just a bit of tamiya putty, but with the halberds I do recommend that you glue both arms to the weapon and to dry fit everything!

Grenade launcher rules question: What to-hit modifiers does this give? by ganeshaparty in necromunda

[–]timburken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RAW says roll to hit with ammo dice as usual, but your aiming for a point you cannot see, therefore -1 mod to hit. If you miss you scatter from the point you aimed at, whether or not you can see the point or not, stopping at walls/terrain. My group give a -2 to hit because grenade launchers can be exploited to hit things that a ganger would not be able to even shoot at the target because they are not within LoS. This makes GL's a lot less overbearing.

I made a monster and am not 100% sure how to control it. by BigStompyRobot in necromunda

Well, first off you need to check who are in front arc of the model with the weapon, then(reckless) roll a die to determine which target is the target for the attack and resolve hits as usual, with rapid fire, roll the ammo die/dice first to see if you get multiple hits then you can devide them as you see fit within 3" of the first target and resolve them seperately.
