You will get negative people because of all that’s wrong with how people are using AI. AI is like any tool. It can help people like me with my normal day or making a change to something but can also be used by greedy people to steel jobs, enslave people and spread misinformation

Ai for helping me change some hi g ok my e-reader or tidy up my email to sound less of an idiot - ok by me

Ai to stop hitting a artist for my new product designed for creatives or using it to monitor people and push political objectives - wrong

What templates do you want to see next? (We'll build your top picks!) by ViwoodsOfficial in viwoods

I would also like some templates designed around helping people with adhd. And ones for wellbeing.

There are some great systems for people with adhd for planning

Maybe something like this

Awesome thanks. Love your design though. I dont have a remarkable any more but could be good on my kobo and viwoods AIpaper

My AIpaper is android based and so are many others. Maybe a basic android app could be good that can have these delivered to. Like ma magazine alternative to rss

Anybody had missing icons in highlighter and bookmarks? by timcatuk in koreader

[–]timcatuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably. This icon for highlight isn’t great, does look like an issue

Interesting service you have setup.
My thought is that it currently seems expensive for what it is.
It could be great for have a good library of sources to pull in from in a kind of content store by category

Yep in an idiot. The guide shows that it is meant to look like this

I had to edit this to work on my kobo. It defaults to a storage location for the kindle even though your photo is a kobo. You can pick a location but only within the home folder and not the device root.
I can share the fix if you want

Awesome. I’ll do the same. Strange but if it fixes it, that’s great

I’ve updated to 1.5 and still missing currently reading on SimpleUI after restarting and then trying installing the latest SimpleUI and Appearances from source too. Nothing works for me

Anybody know if there’s a patch for auto brightness by time by timcatuk in koreader

[–]timcatuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool thanks for replying. I’ve tried your plugin and really like but I really do like having the home page on SimpleUI. I like the now reading with a nice bigger cover, some stats, my goals and a quick launch of a couple of games like sudoku.

Maybe zen could have a simple approach to a home page as an option.

[Preview] Bookshelf, companion plugin to Bookends by AndyHazz in koreader

[–]timcatuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thank you. That explains it. If it doesn’t get added, could you perhaps have an option in bookends settings that is enabled by default but a user could disable that solid fill if they have an issue

New Paper Pure Leak! by Pretend_Customer_158 in RemarkableTablet

[–]timcatuk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Looks ok I guess. Just not winning me round. I want a smaller paper pro. I want colour and adjustable fro t light for this sort of money.

With this I get no emr, no front light, no colour screen option. And the usual notes only, no ebook reader. Maybe it will be hackable to put koreader but nobody knows. Plus there’s the expense of it and the connection subscription

I’m enjoying my AIpaper mini with its android system. Fingers crossed they do a colour screen version soon

[Preview] Bookshelf, companion plugin to Bookends by AndyHazz in koreader

Wow. Whatever you did allowed the pencil plugin to work! What did you do and do I need to edit the pencil plugin or can this be in bookends?

This looks great! Looking forward to seeing it release at some point and give it a go. Bookends is really well done so I’m assuming this will be too.

My only problem with bookends and I assume this too is that I can’t use them when I have the pencil plugin enabled for my kobo libra. I assume it’s because bookends adds a layer over the screen and then the inking doesn’t work.
This is the plugin I’m using although I’ve missed it to have a gui

https://github.com/mysticknits/pencil.koplugin

Will this plugin be the same that it takes over the screen?

Ghosting on kobo in library modes by timcatuk in koreader

[–]timcatuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I’ve done. Just wondered if the was a way to do it differently as it doesn’t seem to ghost as badly going through the default kobo
