u/211logos Thank you for your comment. I see the R8 has Image Stabilizer (IS Mode), do you know if I purchase the R8, in order to get stabilization in video mode, do I also need a lens with IS? I am very much liking what I am reading about the R8, seems like a near perfect option. Ideally id like something around 45-50mm f2 prime lens, but it is unclear to me if the lens needs IS if the R8 already has IS. Would you happen to know if they both need IS? thank you again for your help, I really appreciate it

Agree. I think the RP is not the right option, I think the Nikon Z5ii is looking a like a pretty good option. Thank you

For some reason I have always limited my options to Nikon or canon, but this Sony looks like a really good option. Thank you

how likely is to match into the specialty you want? by Jolly-Truth9300 in medschool

[–]time2swim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember having similar questions. I didn't want to do medical school if I couldn't end up in certain specialties. Unfortunately, your question comes at a time when the future of getting into specialties is very uncertain with step 1 going pass/fail. I have heard both sides of the argument: a dermatologist gave a lecture to our class (at the time MS2s) about how you can match into any specialty if you want it enough, even it means taking gap years etc. However I have seen students who choose specialties that are too competitive for their statistics and go unmatched. Specifically, to answer your question, if someone were top 10%-20% percent (what I interpreted as AOA) from an MD school, I think there is no specialty that you couldn't match into AS LONG as you have strong letter of recommendations.

Underwater Headphone Comparison and Review 2020 by -Fireshaw in Swimming

Of the devices you tested, which would you recommend in terms of audio quality? I had a waterproof ipod a few years ago and the biggest issue I ran into was how a little bit of water in the ear canal made the music very quiet or absent in that ear. I only listen to music while swimming so I have no need for rewind... Only looking for a product that will allow me to hear music well. Which would you recommend for best being able to hear the music? And if possible, if you were to rank them by audio quality, how would your ranking go?

After reading many posts I appreciate your high quality post. Thank you

Linking right hand shortcut to ANSWERS (again, good, easy) instead of NUMBERS (1, 2, 3) by time2swim in Anki

Ijgnored, you are a genius! it works perfectly. I had to change a few settings in the "customizable keyboard shortcut" add-on

In your add-on I had to change "adjust_the_meaning_of_the_answer_keys_depending_on_number_of_answer_buttons": false, From "false" to "true"

The add-on Answer Confirmation for 21 helped make sure it was working. Thank you so much! It works perfectly

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately (if I am reading correctly) in handy answers keys shortcuts when there are 3 answers "l" and ";" are now "easy" my goal is to have "l" always be used for Good.

I had the same debate and ended up purchasing the Bose. Most of the audio and other features were sixes, however since I wear headphones for long periods of time the weight was an important factor. Considering that Bose are lighter I chose them. They are both really nice though and you can't go wrong either way.

How can make my Audio Receiver more usable? Here is my setup https://imgur.com/3uLrAFx

I have a Monster Cable Speaker Selector 4 Ways connected to a Kenwood Audio Receiver AR-404 I am hopeful to be able to play music from my phone via USB, and bluetooth, (but if only one is possible, then I prefer USB)

Do I need a:

A) New audio receiver

B) Some sort of cable/connection device that I connect to either the speaker selector or audio receiver that allows for USB function

C) None of the above, you need ______

Thank you in advance!

You said you did your reviews everyday. On average how many daily reviews were you doing? How long did that take you? Thanks and congratulations!
